Netizens are holding an online campaign calling for the pardon of a father who decided to allow his sick son to die. He had asked doctors to remove an artificial respirator from his brain dead son and took him home to let him die on Aug. 8.
One hundred residents of Damyang, South Jeolla Province, where Yoon and his sons lived, filed a petition for pardon with the prosecution saying that he had very good reasons to commit the crime. Yoon divorced his wife 20 years ago and has been looking after his two sons, who were both suffering from muscular dystrophy, alone.
Following the news reports, many people have pleaded for mercy on the father's behalf. Also, questions over the banning of euthanasia surfaced. A netizen with the ID ``serendipity'' initiated the campaign asking for others to sign on and plead for mercy at the Internet portal Daum's Agora section.

i think it is allowed with strictly limit
because it's for the patient who have a cronic painful disease
they don't have any hope to live and also enough money to stay in hospital

I think people should allow Euthanasia if there is no solution for cure and patients really wants to die because thier pain is deadly.
As people have the rights of living, they also have the rights of death.
We have to listen their asking and respect their rights of death.
