Global Leader Debate Workshop
Purpose
We live in a globalized world where our young students are told to become ‘global leaders’. However, our current education environment creates students who are passive and unwilling to voice out their opinions. We believe a global leader is someone who has independent thinking, ability to empathize, and a will to express their opinions.
The Global Leader Debate Workshop aims to introduce and guide students to the world of debate: an academic sport which enables students to utilize their academic knowledge into solving various issues of our society. Students will be able to learn from the basics of debate to debate strategies, as well as select elective sessions which will deepen their understanding of the world.

Debate for All is a Korea based social venture that specializes in running debate education nationwide and creating debate platforms, and run by passionate debaters, who are former champions and CAs in tournaments such as Northeast Asian Open, Korea Nationals, and United Asian Debating Championship. It aims to create a society in which everyone, regardless of socioeconomic background, can develop into mature democratic citizens and, lead communication through debate.
Debate for All believes that debate is a powerful tool of education that allows individuals to openly express their opinions and develop the skills of critical thinking and persuasion as well as to expand academic/career opportunities.
Since its foundation in May 2012, Debate for All has been organizing various workshops, classes, programs, camps, and schools tournaments at the national level across the country in Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Daejeon, Daegu and other smaller cities where debate education is simply not available, reaching out to about 2,000 students up to now.
Most of profits we gain from our programs go back to supporting students from low-income families, and spreading debate culture with one of the initiatives being debate classes in Korean and English for North Korean students who escaped their county. The organization is now working on creating regional leagues with a national championship tournament and debate workshops for students and public school teachers.
